Love, Rosie

 Love, Rosie

By Cecilia Ahern

Well, well. Cecilia Ahern doesn't disappoint me. Ever.
The last book I read from her was about 7 years ago, I was wondering if my reading taste might have changed or not, or whether I'd still enjoy this genre or not.
Turns out like I did enjoy!

Cecilia never fails to make me laugh. Never fails to make some of the points in the book hit right at home.
Although there were some parts in the book where I got bored, I admit, but the rest of the book is too good!

Rosie is amazing. Having had an extremely tough life, full of struggles, she managed to stay strong in every phase of her life. She managed to keep going on. If anyone must ever be truly dedicated in life (to survive, I mean), they should learn it from her.
From a 6 yo child to a 50 yo woman, she did not lose her energy and sense of humour at all.
You go Rosie!

Rosie had Katie. Alex married Sally.
Rosie married Gary (what's-his-name), and Alex left Sally.
Rosie and Gary split up, and we all think finallyyy they may end up together, that does not happen, Brian The Whine comes up and Rosie stays in Dublin. Alex meets Bethany, marries Bethany. (And we all are surprised that their marriage lasted for all those years!)

Honestly, if you come to think of it, despite their age they have been the most childish people ever. How hard it is to propose one person, really.

Well, anyway. In this book I also liked the life lessons the characters gave to each other.
Phil to Alex. Stephanie and Ruby to Katie.
The parents to their kids, the friends to each other. All nice. :')

This review has become very random, but my bottom point is, it was an amazing read. As always. 💓
