This book. All in all, too good. Now I started admiring James Dashner. Disappoint me with the story or not, he surely makes me smile with every sarcasm he filled in this book. And as TMR, this book too took me by surprise from the beginning. From the point Teresa got replaced by Aris, till the end. The concept was spectacular. Am honestly impressed. Every line of every page I read with my nails being bitten by my teeth, wondering what's gonna happen now? I silently hoped whatever happens, Newt and Minho should survive. I like them so much! Their bravery is worth a standing ovation, apart from Thomas's obviously. However, since Thomas was shot, I lost the count of the times he passed out. Once? Aww. Twice? Get well soon Tommy. Centuryth time? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU. JUST WAKE UP. Honestly, I felt like diving inside the pages and asking him to wake up, and let the story move on. Who passes out for 9 times you tell me? Anyway.. Am glad the main protagonists survived somehow. Thanks Dashner. I hope you don't disappoint me in TDC, I have a feeling it you would. And, you better not. |
