Okay this book got me in a state of profound confusion. The instances which happened in the previous book were changed a bit in this one, and I'm not sure what really happened? But let's wait, maybe the final book will answer all my questions.
Apart from that, the book took abrupt changes but I won't complain since the story was divided into 5 parts for a reason.
The introduction of the mysterious person in the beginning (Prisoner Salgado) which led to Fermin's story before he met Daniel. And the story told us how he met David Martin there, and also the reason behind the death of Isabella (Oh, I so cannot wait to read the final book. I want to see the end of Maurico Valls). And the reference of the book The Count of Monte Cristo (Using which they could plan Fermin's escape from the prison and the very same book was gifted to Fermin by Salgado at present.)
I'm sure the final book might clear the cloud of confusion I'm having right now. I'm quite curious to know what might have happened to David Martin and also to Salgado's secret treasure. And did I mention how I cannot wait to see the end of Valls? That person is worse that Fumero.
