An Abundance of Katherines

An Abundance of Katherines By   John Green My Rating: 2 Genre: YA, Contemporary Finished on: 27th Aug, 2014 OKAY. I started AAOK as soon as I finished PT. And repeating the same line as PT's review. This is a one time read. Oh, wait. Maybe a two time read. And you know why? The only thing I enjoyed in this book, or rather found hilarious is the Theorem part. Almost the whole book, I gave a poker-face expression and asking myself why even am I reading this book?! Why? Why is he creating an unnecessary theorem which makes no sense? The graphs? No sense either. And how on earth did he get the idea to add differentials in the formula! He meets old people in the book, interviews them, and resumes his effort to make this invented formula work out. As any other John Green book - apart from TFIOS - I just enjoyed the last ten pages. The rest are just not worth reading. Or maybe I was too excited to finally get this book done, lol. So basically when the explanation of the title w...

And the Mountains Echoed

And the Mountains Echoed By   Khaled Hosseini My Rating: 5 Genre: Historical Fiction Finished On: 25th Aug, 2014 And The Mountains Echoed. By the ever-heart-breaking-in-fact-heart-twisting-genius-author, Khaled Hosseini. Yes,  Khaled Hosseini. I was dying to read this book ever since it was released. I remember in the mall I randomly entered the bookstore and there it was, a pile of mountain containing the books 'And The Mountains Echoed'. Nobody can ever tell how impatient I was to steal that book, clutching tightly in my hands hiding in some corner and start reading it. But, unfortunately, I was out of money that time. However, this review is gonna take long so now after a year, I somehow started this book, finished it minutes ago, and here goes my review. From the start Khaled began the book with a short story about  div, jinns, etc  . I was fascinated from the start. Thought, "Oh, this seems interesting. Maybe Khaled realized that it doesn't do good to...

Paper Towns

Paper Towns By  John Green My Rating: 2 Genre: YA, Contemporary Finished on: Aug 24th, 2014 The thing about John Green's books are, apart from his Awesome 'quotes' in between the pages of his book, I find nothing worth reading at all. Look at Paper Towns. Basically half the book was about 'Searching Margo'. First I was like, okay. Margo's gone. Q wants to search her as he thinks Margo wants him to search her. I never gave a thought the WHOLE book would be about searching her. Its not 'Looking For Alaska', its 'Looking for Margo', really. Apart from that? Q, I don't care about your IM'ing your friends. I don't care how much you like 'The Resurrection' game. I don't care who has whom for their dates for Prom. Give me a story Q, a story. Okay, my apologies. I read the book. There comes a quote, "Paper people living in Paper Houses, burning the future to stay warm." and another in the beginning, "She loved mys...
