 Sound Bender (Sound Bender #1) By   Lin Oliver ,   Theo Baker My Rating: 3 Genre: Fantasy, YA, Sci Fi Finished On: 20th Jul, 2014 This was good. Another one of those book where you just pass by your cousin's bookshelves pick it up and read it! :P Two things, from this book, were new for me to experience. Firstly  : Sound. Yeah, Sound. I've never bothered to think that deep about the sound. Its everywhere. Its even here when I'm typing these words. This guy, Leo, I thought was too boring at first who just loved nothing else in the world apart from sounds, and not the music ones, sounds which general things in life makes where people - like me - don't bother to take interest in. But, by the end of the book I realized it actually might be peaceful to live your life in those sounds. As if it is reaching a part of you. Reaching the part where your own body speaks out to you.  Among the Barons (Shadow Children #4) By  Margaret Peterson Haddix My Rating: 3 Genre: YA, Sci Fi, Fantasy Finished On: 18th Jul, 2014 This book was one of those which I randomly picked from the bookshelves while visiting relative's house. Well, I don't regret though! But, yeah I regret one thing. This series, Shadow children, has seven books and I caught the fourth one. Unfortunately my cousin didn't have the first three and the last three! I kinda know about the story well, I think. But I need to catch up with the first three to exactly understand luke's feelings and how much he suffered in hiding and stuff, and about that Jason guy, and Jen too! This basic story actually touched me. Having more than two kids as illegal fine.. but killing them? That made me sick. The lame law made me sick too. Anyway I was attracted by the cover a lot. The kid looked so innocent and scared I actually thought it is some real fantasy and horror thing in it. Nevertheless, I will do try ...
